to keep everything everyone’s ever written me! post-its from mum, postcards from family, letters from friends. the little girl up the road once drew a picture of us holding hands and i will treasure it until the day i die.
a few weeks ago i got the sudden urge to write all my friends a letter/postcard and now i am finding all their replies in my letterbox! let's bring back pen pals, they create infinite joy!
One of my favorite activities. When I was tiny, my sweet Gram taught me the importance of staying connected with loved ones. Every week she’d send out cards for fun and never forgot a birthday or anniversary. I have a collection of her cards saved from over the years; they’re essentially the only tangible items left for me from after her passing. Her pretty handwriting and thoughtful messages always hit me with a wave of nostalgia and pure love.
