even if it doesnt entirely match any pre-existing religions i think its good for everyone to believe in something. and even then not entirely a religious belief, but just hold on to something.

I think this new trend of people pretending to be catholic or whatever is dumb. You can tell who didnt grow up in a religious environment vs those who grew up in some insane godless upper middle class household where one parent was barely present cause they was working so hard to make six figures a year. Religion isn’t some aesthetic for clout, but rather a personal set of beliefs to keep oneself balanced.

life without god or something to live for is so hard sometimes
i grew up christian but left the church when i was 15 bc i just feel like i can’t believe in something i cant see or feel.
i’ve been trying to pray & believe in something bigger than myself but the moment something goes wrong it makes me doubt that there’s actually a god that is listening to me.
could someone help me, if you believe in god..or if you don’t. what helps you believe? and if you don’t believe, what helps you on your hard days when you want help from someone bigger than yourself?
it’s kinda depressing believing in absolutely nothing but i can’t force myself to believe, ya know?

its such a good show about a nice southern family with their own issues trying to make their way through the world. Every episode is full of great lessons, beautifully written characters, and genuinely funny humor. Hank is a conservative but in the way a normal guy would have been in the 90s. I fuck with king of the hill and you should too!
