Sullen boy indietronica. Sad guy sings over fast synth pop beats about evident lack of pussy a la The Postal Service, Caleb Peters, Aldn, 2hollis, Gavin Oswald etc. self-promo warning https://open.spotify.com/track/5tnIpyrxTnecNtWZt6pHKo?si=2pzsdl9VQ5-FQlX-UOOs-A

This album goes hard from start to finish, mixing cowboy chords with alt rock progressions. The title track will leave you pierced by loves lost arrow, while tracks like Berlin got Blurry will leave you toe tapping to the memories of nervously drinking and trying to fit in. and those are just Andrew Savage’s contributions. Every song by Austin Brown brings similar heat. Hypnotic tracks like Dust will hook you straight away with its driving power and irresistible mantra. By far one of my favourite album by the lads.

I was a college radio dj for KWVA from October 2015 - June 2019. I recently went back and started to listen through some old show playlists from like, 2016? Maybe 17. This one was a banger

I was let go at the beginning of last month from my creative/marketing/events job and it suckedddd (still does lol) but I’ve been making a point to spend time with my friends, especially others who work in creative capacities. hanging and discussing their similar plights, employed or not, is definitely a comfort. otherwise also trying to keep myself busy with specifically NOT “creative” things (journaling, going to the gym, going on walks, etc) has also been nice— to stretch my silly little brain and body in other ways, and focus on a sense of self outside of work.
