if you don't have a job get really good at making friends and crafting things and then make money moves. trade a loaf of fresh baked bread for movie tickets. get into a gallery opening in exchange for a poem. make five pre-rolls and give them to people who are willing to look the other way while you put a knickknack in your pocket. or is all this gauche now..?

I’ve done this every time I’ve found myself between full time jobs and it really makes the whole time better. You have a little money coming in and you can collect material for your future memoir. Some odd jobs from my past: Axe throwing coach Closet designer Lunch catering delivery Balloon bouquet maker Background extra i found them on big job boards like indeed and also Craigslist (Searching ā€œpart timeā€ gets you less garbage results). If you hate it after you start you can just quit! Also if you like pets, signing up for dog walking or petsitting will keep you active and you get to hang out with pets.

either learn to leverage a skill you already have and figure out a way to get paid off of it, or learn a new skill you can leverage for $ later on. Don’t be like my mom’s boyfriend and refuse to make money. Entrepreneurship is a strange puzzle, embrace it for the sake of learning how people are ā€œdoing business on youā€ in the rest of life. Investigate an industry you like. Learn how it operates, what factors influence changes, and who the best players in the space are. be curious! do some ecom or if you’re rly bold learn how to sell irl. I promise it’s not rly that hard, just don’t be afraid of ppl not wanting whatever u got. This project will teach u a lot about urself. Good luck!
