wanted to do some retro fitness routine and found a video on the internet archive with this lovely woman. i was quite surprised by it for a few reasons:
1) there were women of all shapes in the video
2) she really focused on the idea of intentional movement and didn’t just throw herself around to do aerobic moves
i looked her up afterwards and found out that she sadly has been in a destitute situation for some time. luckily jamie lee curtis rediscovered her and there’s an upcoming documentary about her life coming out soon, on top of a memoir she published last year.
anyways imma find more videos and i hope she gets a more comfortable life ⭐️

this is a week of homey meals, one of the series by my comfort youtuber, imamu's room. i've been watching her for over a year now. my gf & i randomly found her & watched all of her videos in the background of every daily activity/every night before bed. she takes awhile to post but it's always worth. i love her soothing editing style & ofc the recipes, but it's the gentleness she has towards herself through her mistakes& daily mishaps she faces that really entranced me. reminds me of how i want to act. she's only recently gotten more comfortable showing her face & taking us with her on shop trips or even walks in the park & its just so lovely. i dream of a life like hers, with a loving family just taking it day by day & enjoying all the little things.

Living in Rome, you can't escape the Disneyland of Catholicism everywhere. I lived next to Vatican and became obsessed with all the merch you can buy such as glow in the dark virgin mary or shot glasses with the pope effigy. An everyday sacred and profane experience. My personal favorite is to shop underwear in the nuns clothing section...
