Stove top popcorn
cut the shit microwave isnt giving you what you want.
oil in pot, make it hot, settle your kernels, watch and yearn-les, first one pop, cap on top, melt your butter, heart will flutter, amount of salt, at your fault.
advanced technique : when the popped corn is in a bowl distributes half of the butter & some of the salt— have another bowl ready (same ish size) place on top shake like flipping pancake 🔁 remove bowl distribute rest of butter and salt

stovetop popcorn is the best. i like to put a batch in a pint deli container with butter and salt and soy sauce and shake shake so it gets all dispersed and then top with nutritional yeast- i eat it at least once a week tbh

popcorn in a pan/cooker w/ a lid
Elevate your at home movie night. 1/3 cup of kernels + 1-2 tbsp coconut oil over high heat. Agitate every few seconds while popping, take it off the heat once the popping gets sporadic.
Add butter, salt, herbs/spices… whatever. Beats the hell out of microwave corn.

making popcorn on your stovetop
keep a jar of kernals. whenever inspiration strikes, put a few tablespoons of oil in a pot with a lid and add kernals on med-high until it pops. Salt and enjoy. Simple satisfaction 10/10 reccommend.

popcorn kernels
that I put in a plastic bowl and then pop in the microwave (need a cover!).
Add a bit of butter and salt or coconut oil and salt.
I do appreciate the friction of not just being able to grab and eat them, it takes a bit of intentionality and work to make this snack happen.

Intermissions during films
currently reintroduced to the brilliance of being in a movie theatre and half way through the screen goes black abruptly the lights flash on and a big ol “INTERMISSION” in ariel font is walloped onto the screen
Movies are only getting longer and if i am at the cinema hall i require a built in bathroom break and popcorn re-up
