If you understand who you're making your craft for and to what ends then you'll be at peace. After countless curations and my time in the creme de creme of the artistic world alongside Papa in my youth, I did indeed notice an analytical trend - the artists who could negotiate their own self value found success in their sense and the worldly sense of success did follow after too.

๐Iโm still early on making music โ but this is it:
I๏ธ played like drums in middle school and then fell out of like โperformingโ until adulthood when I๏ธ decided to start DJ-ing. I๏ธ loved that so much I๏ธ was like I๏ธ feel like I๏ธ can make my own things like 6 months ago and Iโve just been making small shitty 2 minute things for myself every day.
For me itโs kinda meditative? Like usually no one hears the songs I am making (besides my partner) but itโs really just for me. No clue if any of them will ever reach a record or be on Spotify, but I๏ธ feel like itโs making me greater appreciate music in general.
