this absolute motherfucker performed a sold out stadium show in rotterdam and on the same night took his band to a little club in the hague with space for maybe 200 people, locked the doors with everyone inside after fucking midnight, and had THAT show become the legendary performance instead of the sold-out Lovesexy show that same evening. they did not sell real tickets for this show, instead they gave leftover tickets for other shows with āPRINCE 18 AUGUSTUSā stamped on the back. no one else will ever do it like Him. sadly no video but the performance became maybe the definitive prince live bootleg. witness it in all its glory: https://youtu.be/cvn_r6a2zJ4
