As a New Yorker, I was hesitant to admit it, but the truth of the matter is most NYC shops have fallen off and MTL bagels, specifically at St. Viateur or Fairmount are by-and-large superior 🥯
only to be found on the north shore of Boston and their bagels are LIFE CHANGING. you will hurt every time you pay for an overpriced shrimpy bagel in NYC afterwards. I wish I weren’t 3000 miles away, could face a fat one rn
