y'all, i'm halfway through the book and it's a banger!! do NOT be intimidated by it. it's such an accessible classic! (this is coming from a gal who love love loves 'pride and prejudice' and 'little women' and knows those are a lil tricky to understand.)
rn iām working through a giant collection of shirley jackson stories, carmilla, trick mirror by jia tolentino, and am gonna begin big swiss by jen beagin as soon as iām done with one of these :)
when i go alone, i will put on a bunch of songs that make me feel extra swag and proceed to strut through the museum to look at old paintings like i own and curated the place. makes me feel less self-conscious and adds to the experience.
