one of my favorite things is learning what peoples’ classic sandwiches are. my elementary friend, caitlin, ate hers with nutella and peanut butter, with the kind of whole wheat bread that has seeds in the crust. my partner eats theirs with almond butter, jelly, and potato chips inside. same bread as caitlin. it’s so sweet because that is the same sandwich they have been eating since they were little. little baby them tasted that sandwich for the first time and it became the one and only.
