People approach writing in the context of a letter differently and open up in more interesting ways and I think that’s cool

its actually quite relaxing to do and depending on who you‘re writing to you get to yap a lot. My friend likes adding random questions to think about too in case you can‘t think of anything. Plus it‘s like a little time capsule you receive from friends or pen pals. Also your stationary actually gets put to use instead of catching dust if you‘re like me and enjoy buying and collecting it.

lately I have been feeling inclined to write by hand, and I have a tendency of buying stationery and never using it cause it doesn’t “feel right” to use it, but tbh I think a good way to use it would be to write letters to my friends and people who I am happy to have in my life, like my two managers at work are so sweet and honestly i’m really happy they are my managers cause I appreciate their work a lot, and to my friends ofc I think it would be a nice way to connect with them, I get to create art and they get a nice little piece of my heart and I hope they keep it and reminds them they’re loved <3 ps. my friend’s cat dinky

writing letters (have to be in cursive) to your friends. i write letters constantly. It allows you to monologue and allows the recipient to then monologue back to you. Everyone gets to say what they want without the eternal nightmare of TEXTING. works well for long distance friendships (most of mine) and the aesthetics are… beautessica

Try to remind yourself of the absurd amazing ness of a bunch of humans gathering to hear your sounds and everyone just being part of this strange thing and just exist in that moment. and also all the other responses are spot on
