i live in new york and have a degree and maybe even some skills but it feels so impossible. i would do anything that isn't extremely lame. and news is all like ooo the economy is so good. what's up with that. are the jobs hiding? are they scared of me? tips are appreciated
Hello New England friend, I have been applying to places since November!! We are talking entry level shit like cashiers and front desk jobs!!! I have been working since I was like 14 when my parents sent me to the farm and am more than qualified for any entry level shit aside from serving. I really think that places are just not hiring right now at all. You have to find a local business where you can meet the owner in person. Many listings Iβve applied for are still active online several weeks later!! Itβs a shit show!!!!!!
dude, i have a college degree, had to move back to my hometown, and aint SHIT i can do with that degree here apparently lmao. trying with a school, a library, self-employing my art and photo skills...nada. guess its the gas station for me. :(
this weekend a man on the bridge dropped his airpods so i picked them up for him then on his run back when he passed me he smiled and waved because we were microfriends. i will never see him again but we had our moment
i just made this term up but it feels right to describe a nice little fleeting human connection
