I used to hang around a lot more cishet dudes and any opportunity we had we’d boot up the Type beats and just have fun and try to make each other laugh for hours. Nowadays the people I run with aren’t as into rap and are maybe a little shy about jumping into freestyling. I’ll admit it takes A TON of practice to actually be good, but I’m not asking for them to be good I’m asking for levity and laughter. I really wish I still had someone to share this with. It can definitely be a solo activity, but there’s nothing like the belly laughs I’d have when someone matches or tops the lunacy of the last 16.
If you love rap music and are around some bros who don’t mind being a little silly or cringe, throw on a type beats. It’s mad addictive, once you have one solid good one you’ll be chasing that high for a while.
