I have other answers too, like the bike trail near my house, a bar in town, and some coffee shops, but the amount of sincerity and genuine connection this app provides has it feeling more and more like a bona-fide 3rd space. There’s a sense that a lot of people are “regulars“ here, and it’s getting to the point where I’m genuinely invested to see how people are feeling, what they’re thinking, and what they’re up to. Even though it feels kind of weird to dub a website a third place since there’s a lack of face-to-face interaction, this is still where people (myself included) relax, encounter familiar faces, and make new acquaintances. I guess I’m just very thankful for the all of interesting and kind people on here. So thanks :)
