I can genuinely notice myself become unhealthier as things continue without therapy. GAWDDAMNIT! I ghosted my old therapist on impulse, i would rec against that.

Been seeing people on and off (mostly on) since I was like 8 or 9 but this one is finally the right fit to call me out and get me to actually do my stuff while not talking down to me or making me feel bad about things
accidentally overshared in the bathroom at the club and was earnestly asked “have you considered going to therapy“ so this is my reminder that I need to get back on that

You dont have to do the mental math each time you look at it— which takes away a lot of the need to consciously note the time which takes away the need to consciously remember to check the time. then when you look at it as you do the dishes or cook you actually start to passively notice how much time is being spent. and you can tell in the morning exactly if you’re extra late to work because it’s right there even if you dont want to check your phone to admit to yourself you’re late for work. And I’m sure theres something about having more trust in the things around you that allays some inner havoc

compulsively needing to achieve QB every day even though its not fun and rather frustrating and now I see words that dont exist all the time. in terms of entertainment value to time spent or even impressing other people to time spent it is atrocious compared to the other things you can do on the app. It is for retirees that need to waste time until they die. It is not for 23 year olds that need to get their bag up. But alas.

It is so easy to cook for at least two 1. Getting a thank you kiss 2. Not more difficult than cooking for one 3. and you are rarely left with too many gross leftovers
