I'm redirecting to my own guide to watch movies for free, the comments also have great additional recs, specially https://rarefilmm.com/ and https://www.solidaritycinema.com/ Among all of these options I highly reccomend exploring Buster Keaton's filmography featured in Cinema Antiqua youtube channel (quite good quality for 1920's movies for free), as always it's fun to see the stunt king in action. Among the Internet Archive I've enjoyed watching to great japanese animation like Roujin Z and NeoTokyo

You can access the archive from Plex and it’s a hUge range of films, all for free!
It’s been a lifesaver since leaving college and losing access to Kanopy.
Tons of revolutionary films and documentaries, it’s like netflix for cool people! Jk i kid, i kid… 👀.
A lot of independent films that are no longer being shown are up there too!! Great stuff all around.

new vinyl is too expensive to be cool now, buy CDs, you can build up a whole collection very cheaply. i’m betting on a CD revival.

i have Libby which connects to your library card and audiobooks are great for if you are doing other jobs or going for a walk! also starting out by reading shorter books that look fun or intriguing as opposed to like ‘classics’ or ones you feel like you’re supposed to read
