It’s a weird but good contrast, and will make any bad ice cream taste better. Compliments well with plain vanilla ice cream where you have the cold and sweetness, and then hint of heat of spice.
Recommend using the OG chili oil, Lao gan ma.
I love collecting chili oils... the perfect garnish and additive to any meal. Laogama you have my heart so far. Trader Joe's fermented calabrian chili paste is a close second. Momoya too.
