🕊It no longer rules your life, lingers in the back of every thought, controls your free and occupied time, makes you feel like an utter pervert in the extent to which you seek out interviews and any online presence, nor sends you into an existential frenzy as to whether you have a crush on or want to be this person. You’re free! And now that you’re not wholly consumed with some talented stranger you can go back to enjoying the work the way you did right before it turned into a full blown obsession but now there’s a warm fondness from the time and intensity you’ve given to this thing you now know you love, the love that now makes this thing (album, movie, book, artwork, etc) a part of you and loving it is almost like loving yourself—hearing the song in public is like hearing the sound of the soft animal of your body (subdued to a whisper) and that’s all it is! something tender, something remembered, an embrace of something deeper, but not as destabilizing as it once was.

💝Life is so much more fun when you let yourself express how much you love someone or something without reservations. Don’t half ass it. Tell strangers with cool outfits how much you love their style. Tell your friends how much you love their company. Share your favourite books and movies with randos online, and go into excruciating detail about why. Tell your mom about your favorite memories from growing up. Let your fondness fill up so much space within you and around you - the world feels so much more magical when you let yourself get excited about what’s in it.

They are covered in chemicals, their carbon footprint is outrageous, and most importantly, the women who grow, harvest and ship these roses are living with diseases caused by the pesticides used.
Find some paper and a pen, and write how you feel instead of “saying it with flowers”.
This is coming from a florist who works exclusively with local and seasonal flowers. I made this from my garden this morning.

⭐I’ve had my set of multiple sizes and shapes of Pyrex glass storage for YEARS and it’s the best I’ve used. As a mom of 4 I have leftovers at every meal so these get used a LOT. These can also be used in the oven and they don’t leach BPA’s into your food like inexpensive plastic ones. Also if/when the lids crack you can buy replacements on amazon without buying a whole new set. This is not an ad but maybe it should be.
