seems mundane tbh but not all foot coverings are created equal and there’s something extremely inviting about a warm pair of visibly nice socks and idk maybe it’s weird i think about toe comforts this much but it’s actually a rly cool thing to think is cool actually

🧦Every night when I tuck into bed, I look forward to the little ritual of removing my socks with my feet. There’s something so satisfying about the sensation of foot to blanket that isn’t achieved if you just pop into bed barefoot. It’s also like a little challenge - how does the dexterity of one food compare to the other. Difficulty also varies depending on sock height. Some days I go right sock off first, others left.
This also creates the unique situation of a massive reservoir of socks at the bottom of the bed.

🧦i love a fresh pair of high-quality, cushioned socks. it can feel like a splurge, but it's cheaper than other clothing items, and you're always gonna be glad to have another pair to wear. never in my life have i said, “i have too many socks.”

i dress socks first, i love a little matching moment, or a statement sock in an otherwise monochrome fit. i also love long walks, feats of athleticism, and wearing boots. these socks are beautiful, comfy, cushioned, and stay where you want them all day long. they don’t roll under your toes, and they come in two sizes!
