When becoming a stan takes a new meaning. After loss & tragedy, people grieve in many different ways: but our protagonist chooses to deal in a much more violent way than most. In this series you get a flood of different emotions and most of all you get confused, but this series is something I do not regret binging. If you don’t mind some gory scenes & some disturbing ones too, this series is a must watch. Whilst it did come out in 2023, I don’t think it got enough praise. Dominique Fishback does an absolute masterclass in acting (& was snubbed at the Emmy’s). There is some really disturbing shit in this show, so if you get triggered easily I wouldn’t watch it. Nevertheless, go watch it and you’ll understand why I’d rave about this show.

discovered the show around this time last year and rediscovered the soundtrack today at the library. the show is loosely based on beyonces insane fandom and the parasocial relationship between this girl and “nijah” (beyonc é) but it is also about a serial killer stalker on the run and billie eilish plays a sexy cult leader therapist at bonaroo! some of the beats in the songs are rly funky and fun to listen to so overall i would recommend as a short watch and listen! it’s on prime btw

I got overwhelmed by how intense it got and didn’t finish the show but maybe you’ll love every second!
very dark, very queer, hilarious, very moving and beautiful. cw death is the main topic - every ep starts with a death.

Maybe I’m just psycho but like listening to sad music before going out is so Bible. I want to just feel to the earth before I‘m listening to dancing music all night. Even just listening before the pregame when you’re getting ready. It puts a cherry on TOP for my night.
