if you're a TVZ fan, you've probably seen his performances of Waiting Round to Die and Pancho and Lefty from this documentary, but this is the other standout performance in the film imo. haven't found a version of this song that touches Crowell's.
for fans of early Alex G, twangy Midwest indie and being from a small town
seriously this album is one of my favorites this year and deserves tons of love
songs stink. insane amount of product placement. does that thing where it tries (& fails) to portray tiktok/social media and it just comes off as embarrassing. confusing target demographic. only went to see it because i felt like going to the theater w/my friend. not worth the money at all. spend ur time watching something better
obviously a little immoral. don’t pirate every book you read. physical books are cooler anyway. but having access to such a wealth of information for free is so beautiful and shouldn’t be demonized. being able to find & read out of print or rare books through torrenting or little downloads is bonkers. people a century ago couldn't have dreamt of something like this
i make a batch every weekend & eat it for breakfast throughout the week. so easy 2 make, if ur still spending $8 on a shit bag of premade granola ur missing out. link to recipe in NYT cooking is attached
