when i want to listen to music, i never think "yeah it's time to listen to a podcast". i don't want all of my notes drowning out my daily todo's. i love having distinct destinations for everything on my phone, and usually dedicated apps for one type of task have better features that places who want to do a little bit of everything.
a friend just messaged me “you and your apps, you should have an app to recommend all your apps” and I realised that yeah I really do love a good app. I may do separate posts for apps in the future, but apart from the obvious ones (Insta, Spotify etc) here are some of my favourites: PI.FYI
Notion

Natural Cycles

Shuffles
Swipewipe
Borrow Box

i get why people only think of movies as a social event, but seeing a movie in a theater alone is the most freeing and therapeutic thing that i do in my day to day life.
gone are the moments of trying to pick something that you think a group of people would like. gone is the anxiety of always thinking about what your friend is thinking of the movie as it’s going on. it’s just you and the movie. i love it
i’m tired to hiding my love for the perfect fast food sandwich. it’s the filet o fish. they make it fresh every time. it’s 4 subpar ingredients on their own, but assemble them together and you have a delicious sandwich.
