Something I’m realising as I spend more time on this platform is how nice it is to see optimism online for once. People helping others, and giving advice to enrich life. Because life online doesn’t have to be about staring at depressing headlines, it can be about learning new things! I used to be on Twitter all the time, but since I got this app I’ve used it a lot less - I’ve been on this app about 3x the amount of time I’ve been on twt this week. And I feel much better for that, as there’s no more doomscrolling.
Also I love how like the early internet, this place is half cat photos. As it should be (I am totally unbiased…)
