This was the first one I heard in high school and I didn’t immediately get it but eventually picked up their vibe. My favorite albums of theirs are Nassau, The Biz, and The Fawn.

Really great collection of short stories. They stole the plot for “The Sound of Metal” from “Testimony of Pilot” in here. Very southern gothic. Very good.
