MORGIANA
This is an old czech film from the new wave and it’s a very visually beautiful and has a different take on a creepy gothic story. Also some of the shots are very reminiscent of Kubrick! You can’t stream it but I’ll share the link to a DVD.

Juraj Herz is the Czech New Wave master of creepy gothic vibes. See also his Beauty And The Beast (1978). I'd also highly recommend Wilczyca (1983) by Marek Piestrak. It's a great supernaturnal gothic horror film about a soldier who may, or may not, be possessed by the spirit of his dead wife, being stalked by a she-wolf, who may or may not be a Polish countess. Werewolves, romance and passion, misty mansions. Who could ask for anything more?

watch this if you saw Nosferatu
ok 2024 was freaky, but i loved it cause it about sm more than just monster romance even if so many people wanna label it as such. theres countless motifs to art history and all classic gothic literature (mainly cause duh vampires are the epitome of gothic romance and literature). but watch this video, i am watching it at work rn they’ve got their evidence.

Viy (1967)
considered the first soviet-era horror film, a monk is called upon to preside over the final vigil of a young witch in a remote village, where he must spend three nights alone in the church with her coffin. the practical effects are so cool and ambitious. the whole movie is so pretty to look at, from the scenery to the architecture to the supernatural stuff. the story itself is based on an earlier novella, it’s very interesting and folky. i just love old horror like this :)

Free fashion photoshoot
I always have loved clothes and fashion. I have so much on my clothing rack right now that it's falling over so I feel I can't keep buying more (even though I will). But for now, I still want to take photos of my friends and myself in very cute outfits so we always go to those very cute curated thrift stores with displays and gorgeous room designs and get an outfit together and take photos, and were don't end up spending a cent. So you should do it, it's fun.
