will my back hurt next day? absolutely. but something about falling asleep on the couch without brushing my teeth, washing my face, changing into my pajamas, feels SO liberating that I canât help but having an amazing day afterwards?

đI have always had a lot of trouble falling asleep, but for whatever reason I only have that problem in my bed-- some subconscious part of me feels like I *have to* go to bed there and that pressure breaks my circadian rhythm.
Falling asleep on the couch however is forbidden, decadent and delicious-- you are not supposed to have randomly conked out there so its powers to make you sleep are so much stronger. I consistently sleep better on the couch than in bed.

đa big pet peeve I have is people complaining about not having community or only having âparty friendsâ etc BUT are they inviting their existing friends or acquaintances to go out for dinner, go thrifting, watch tv, book club, people watch, day trip, mulberry picking? no, they are not. are they introducing their friends to each other? also not. i hate to be a clichĂ© sometimes you gotta put some work into having the relationships you long for. plus: youâre part of the problem. AND have some appreciation for the friends you have instead of focusing so much in what you donât.

Nothing annoys me more about the American culture than the lack of enthusiasm. If I invite you to go somewhere and your answer is âsureâ or âwhy notâ, Iâm taking it back. I do not wanna be surrounded by indifferent people. Itâs unworthy.
