When traveling or having people over, I figure out everyone’s coffee needs before going to bed. Sugar? Milk? Weird kind of milk? Awful flavored creamer? Only espresso drinks? Only that weak Dunkin drip? Just get it sorted without judgment, go to the store if you have to, or otherwise figure out a game plan, and thus ensure you have happy companions bright and early.

☕️I drink coffee primarily for the caffeine and the ritual, if you couldn’t tell. At the moment I’m too poor to go out and get coffee very often so I am making it myself, I have experimented with several pourover methods over the years and have concluded that any form of pourover that involves grinding fresh beans and weighing them out is inferior to slapping a pre-ground Seattle’s Best dark roast in the machine and letting it run and maybe throwing in a tiny bit of Trader Joe’s Brown Sugar Oat Creamer

☕I used to think the whole “ don’t talk to me before I’ve had my coffee“ thing was just another one of those white people sayings like “ live laugh love“. After drinking coffee for about a year, I understand where that comes from. If someone were to ask me to do something before I have my coffee time, I may stab them ( with insults ofc). Once I have my coffee time, all is well and I may be approached. it’s the little things you gotta appreciate in life.

Here is a piece that I am livestreaming indefinitely on youtube. It’s footage from basically everywhere I’ve been in the past 3 years or so. All over America. YouTube is really a blessing; even if it was _just_ a storage platform for video it would be above and beyond anything else. I really recommend finding ways to make stuff for youtube.
