my dad and my brothers get together a few times a year to make homemade wine, italian sausage, and cured meat. been doing it since i was a kid. my dad learned it from his dad and grandfather in italy. what a legend. so sick. cant wait to do it with my kids

asking your dad if he'S REALLY DOING OKAY & WHAT HE'S INTERESTED IN THESE DAYS

This has strengthened our relationship so much and his lore is always insane. Dads always be doing the most random shit, but no one ever asks them about it. Since i've been asking my dad more about his day to day he gets so excited to tell me about all of the random things he's trying and learning. It's precious.
