A lot of cool gems a lot some of these old avant garde films that have very film chance of ever getting digitized.I used to work here as an intern for a while and clean film reels and get them ready for museums showings. Very friendly people who do events a lot of the time for cheap! Shout out to my hero Jonas mekas for starting this wonderful bizarre archive that some how has been kept a float for so many years!

now i can actually add a rec to my own post! yesterday i went to a film screening at anthology film archives and watched zined! it was an comedic, down to earth documentary about average people making zines to document the music culture around them, state subversive political issues, create personal diaries, etc.
and it did feature some shots of kinko’s!

Ever since starting college I've made it a point to try on different things, different people...., different styles, and different hobbies! Today I got the IMMENSE privilege of helping out a friend with a short film! It was incredibly fun and made me realize how important it is to have different likes, different things that make our world keep spinning. I'm glad to be able to add film-making (ish) to this little world of mine!

Be that in film or photography I think images should be more obscured instead of so clean All the time. Taking images is painting with light why would you want an image that looks like an ad and not one that looks like a human captured it.
