its the best way to consume media. DONT show me a trailer DONT let me read the flap on the inside of the novel DONT tell me there’s even an alien in it. Dont tell me what it’s about just be like “it’s good you should check it out”

BIG supporter of this approach, especially for current film releases!!! trailers are giving so much away now it’s maddening

I can't do this anymore. I had a friend tell me to trust him, then he turned on Pink Flamingo. We're not friends anymore.

Agreed. I take it as far as listening to live radio (AM and FM) and not reading the last couple pages of a book. I hate Googling shit (and I work for Google). I'm not afraid to ask people to tell me more about a topic too.

this is me whenever my gf says she wants to watch a movie/a show-not cause I don’t care, just love not knowing, recent example being not knowing bones and all was about cannibalism 😭😭

hate hearing about production details about shows before they even air. what do you mean i’ve already been spoiled about details of doctor who series 15. series 14 hasn’t even began broadcasting. why can’t you just watch the show when it comes out like…

I don’t actively watch trailers. Movie trailers feel like they tell you the entire movie in 3 minutes and make me not want to watch it. I don’t want to see all the coolest scenes with all the best jokes before I’ve watched the movie!
I always read a short synopsis or summary if I’m interested, or look at what other people have said in reviews.
OR GO IN BLIND! YOU MIGHT FIND A NEW FAVOURITE YOU NEVER WOULD HAVE WATCHED!!!

stop looking at letterboxd or rotten tomatoes before u go see the movie. stop reading the goodreads before buying the book. dont look at the album reviews before listening to it. be stupid! go in blind! consume what u want without consulting every other idiot online! since when did we all become experts anyway

It’s like pawn stars without the humiliation or desperate reek of chum lee. Just old people wearing the most insane clothes you’ve ever seen, often speaking with the most insane regional dialects you’ll ever hear, learning about their knickknacks. Plus it’s hosted by a guy named Mark Wahlberg who is not Mark Wahlberg.
