To this day this is the greatest purchase I’ve ever made. Every night i go put my doom scrolling device to bed (on the charger, in a different room) and I use my alarm clock to wake up - a revolutionary invention really.
I don’t just blindly reach for my phone - I get out of bed and start my day au natural. it’s refreshing :’)
You could get any alarm clock but the design and features on it makes me buy-in more on the routine change (expensive though)
it’s a children’s alarm clock and not very chic, but i think it’s cute. it also has a nice warm yellow light. i used to have a 1981 cassette radio alarm clock which i loved, until the tape player destroyed one of my tapes
this fully upgraded my sleep and dependence on my phone. I now keep my phone out of my bed room which means it’s no longer the first thing / last thing I see. (which tbh I think had given me a bit more peace and time back)
I looked into the fancy alarm clocks (Hatch and Lotfie) but all I wanted was a device to tell me the time and wake me up. Less tech the better imho.
I got a bagby bc I liked the wood finish and values of their brand but there’s a ton of others out there♥
Okay I met a girl today who told me she just made a substack to use for diary entries a la Tumblr and I was floored.
Idk why I’ve never thought to use it that way but I’m calling it now… Substack is the new finsta
