updating and being updated by friends on the details of their lives, it's what keeps our long-distance friendships going imo. Like "I'm stuck in traffic", "getting a coffee", photos of the weather, etc etc. like yes, tell me the silly things as you're moving from place to place, we have lives and we are living!
