If you know me even the tiniest bit you know that I am shamelessly the biggest Coldplay fan. I know people wanna say they're cringe and i get it...but their early stuff..i'm talkin Parachutes, Rush of Blood to the Head, Even Viva La Vida goes so hard. Parachutes was the first CD I rented from the library when I was like 12 or 13 so they are just super nostalgic for me now. I did a cover of Yellow a couple years and recreated their iconic video for it and they tweeted about it! I lost my mind!!

This is the first song I remember being my Favourite Song. I pretended to hate Coldplay for like a decade and a half after this, then actually listened to the rest of their stuff and ended up hating it For Real, but this song and their first two albums are keepers for sure

It was 2010. My friends and I used to swap USBs full of .mp3 files (usually ripped from CDs we had borrowed at the library) and we were all curating these bloated itunes libraries on our parents desktop computers. I never listened to the radio so this album managed to pass me by. The first time I heard it, it was technically autumn but in every experiential sense it was winter and I was on the bus to school. I had time to listen to it twice. To this day, it’s one of my all time favourites and all my friends make fun of me for it. (I may be embarrassing but I commit 100%!)

first thing that comes to mind that feels of the time is all the vitamin string quartet covers I was obsessed with lolololol I should get back into those!! Also loved Hozier, Laura Gibson (LOVED her—listened to skin, warming skin on repeat), of mice and men, mumford and sons, band of horses, Lorde, the black keys, FOB, Panic!, All Time Low, a little 21 pilots, a little MCR, Halsey, and the Beatles (especially early in high school and especially the songs featured in across the universe (2007) but I also loved paperback writer for some reason). Very tail end of my senior year I got more into broadway and was obsessed with everything from Natasha, Pierre, and the Great Comet of 1812 (which was SNUBBED for the Tony by dear evan Hansen 🤮) Didn’t do a lot of country, was mostly into country in elementary and middle school, then got back into it after graduating college, both from nostalgia and from a desire to preserve that part of me when I decided to move to the east coast. The first ones I mentioned were from streaming(not a lot since unlimited data wasn’t a thing for me at the time and my parents also weren’t paying for Spotify for me so the ads were annoying), my iTunes library, YouTube to mp3 files I put on my phone back when it was easier to do that, and CDs. But I also liked the hard rock and classic rock stations on the radio for my drives to and from school. Spotify also tells me I liked death cab for cutie and needtobreathe more than I remembered lol

I'm just truly obsessed with gossip! Knowing all the gossip, telling all the gossip...it's so much fun! No one should really ever tell me their secrets because I love gossip too much.

Every other video on my instagram explore/Tik Tok feed is of a monkey riding on a dog's back or a baby pig cuddling with a turtle or like a cat grooming a raccoon. It's wild and beautiful and so pure. I actually save them when I see them because I know I'll want to go back and watch some whenever I'm sad.

Putting stickers on everything (especially puffy stickers) just makes the world a better place. I just ordered like 200 sheets of My Melody puffy stickers (I know it's excessive) but I swear it just makes you a happier, healthier person to have stickers in your life. Any time I send a friend a letter…STICKERS…guitar…STICKERS…notebook…STICKERS!!! Stickers everywhere 4 ever.
