SUCH a great movie, and I usually can't handle long ones. The outro scene with Moby's “God Moving Over The Face of the Waters” is just so epic and punches me in the gut every time.

Heat (1996)

Heat is one of the best movies you can see in a theater I presume. Scenic views of LA, insane gun battles and scenes between De Niro and Pacino. The sound is the key part of it, where the movie theater sound system makes the deafening final showdown on the tarmac of an airport make you feel like you are there yourself.
I‘ve seen it twice at Coolidge Corner Theater in Brookline. I believe it shows every year there in the summer as part of a summer classics series.

I love a good heist movie… if you can call this that. And I love 70s Pacino (Godfather 1 and 2, … And Justice for All) If you like seeing this man freak out, walk don’t run watch this now
