It gets really cold where I attend school so I like to wear my big, green puffer jacket (shown in my pfp). It keeps me warm and makes me stand out in the crowd which is really great because I am a desperate slut for attention. Anyway, I‘m spending my last semester of college in California and am slowly coming to terms with the fact I probably will not be taking it with me. Kinda a bittersweet goodbye tbh. I highly recommend the next time you need to buy a puffer jacket that you buy one in a bright, obnoxious color. What a closet staple, I’m gonna miss her.

It doesn't fit and even if it did I wouldn't wear it (that school sucked) but I wore it so much in high school. That's like my baby. We've been through so much together. I've considered having it altered to be smaller and to put it on a teddy bear or something.

A few weeks ago, I was hanging out with my Most Fashionable Friend, Matthew, who happens to be a very high-end tailor. I had been too eager to embrace the spring weather, and as we prepared to head to dinner outdoors, I found myself shivering. Matthew, being not only stylish but also chivalrous, offered to lend me his perfectly-hued green vintage North Face puffer, and told me I could keep it “for the season.” I've been wearing it every day the weather allows, and every time I get a compliment or catch myself looking cool in the mirror, I just think of Matthew and what an absolute gem of a guy he is. The moral of the story is to find ultra-chic, generous friends who will lend you their cool wares and let you rock them for extended periods of time. It’s cheaper than thrifting, and even more fun.

Sometimes you feel wistful and bored but then you look at the flowers you bought that are sitting on your desk and it cheers you up and I think that’s really lovely. I bought pink carnations and pink tulips :)
