i don't remember the last time i bought a loaf of bread tbh i don't rly rock with bread like that. it's not like i hate it but i never make much of anything at home that needs bread. anyway i had a bunch of butter leftover from the food i made for thanksgiving and figured i'd grab some bread at TJs. This stuff, with a shmear of butter on it? really solid little snack. sometimes the classics (bread and butter) go crazy

🥯I'm going to the bagel store today and I'm buying a plain bagel, toasted, dry. I'm crazy like that. I'm unfortunate in that I deny myself the pleasures of cream cheese, sesame seeds, "everything," etc; but I know to savor hot bread. Admittedly I show up to the counter and feel so much shame. You can only go "just hot bread, really" and chuckle it off until it stops being funny and registers as strange. I don't really want to be the bread guy but it's just who I am right now. And truthfully I know I'm not doing anything to change it anytime soon. Anyways I highly recommend Knickerbocker Bagel. They make great bread.

🍞If you can get a loaf of bread from a bakery (I like sourdough) you can cut a slice and dip that shit in olive oil with salt and pepper. It goes extremely hard. Not protein heavy but it has carbs and fat and it can get you through tough times. also u can use the bread for pb&j and other sandwiches when youre feeling up

⭐I watched 2001: A Space Odyssey yesterday and read abt how the beatles approached kubrick to direct them in a lord of the rings adaptation back in the day. imagining that version of the world where everyone remembers frodo as john lennon or something instead of whatever we remember him for now (beatles, memes, showing his hog&bush on that one album cover, etc)
