the best family bond you can possibly have. the sweet spot between a sibling and a friend. itâs never late to rekindle! it makes holiday family gatherings 1000 times more bearable. cousins are your best source for family gossip and a fertile ground for inside jokes. i highly recommend calling them âcousinâ instead of their actual name (or primo/prima, if youâre lucky enough to be from a portuguese or spanish speaking family). It feels great!

đa big pet peeve I have is people complaining about not having community or only having âparty friendsâ etc BUT are they inviting their existing friends or acquaintances to go out for dinner, go thrifting, watch tv, book club, people watch, day trip, mulberry picking? no, they are not. are they introducing their friends to each other? also not. i hate to be a clichĂ© sometimes you gotta put some work into having the relationships you long for. plus: youâre part of the problem. AND have some appreciation for the friends you have instead of focusing so much in what you donât.

Nothing annoys me more about the American culture than the lack of enthusiasm. If I invite you to go somewhere and your answer is âsureâ or âwhy notâ, Iâm taking it back. I do not wanna be surrounded by indifferent people. Itâs unworthy.
