If pistachio is available then I'm falling straight into its silky salty sweet embrace. As mouse says the pistachio gelato from the place at the end of our street is God tier and I am yet to try anything better.
Elsewhere I like a refreshing mint choc chip because it tastes kind of like toothpaste but in a really enjoyable way and I like that it's often a kind of pleasing gritty texture.
Sometimes the sensory experience of a cone dripping down my hands is simply too much and it has to be a cup with a cute little spoon.

i’m not a 7 year old i can’t stand the stickiness of an ice cream cone anymore unless it’s cool enough that evening to where it won’t melt fast
hard ice cream: black raspberry, or mint chocolate chip (but only if it’s neon green the white ones r never as good)
soft ice cream: vanilla and chocolate twist with jimmies*
*not sure if this is just new england but jimmies are the thinner chocolate sprinkles :)

guys this is happening now and lasts about a week. it’s so stunning and beautiful. meadows of little purple flowers no taller than grass. little bees coming out of their slumber to get that nectar. also saffron comes from a crocus! crazy! life is so beautiful.
