My favorite of the New Zealand jangle pop bands, which I admittedly just found out are grouped together as the "Dunedin sound". Daddy's Highway is start-to-finish good and an album I revisit frequently. While we're at it, there's an indie band (from Australia if you'll allow it) called The Stroppies that rule in my opinion that I wish more people knew about. Their S/T is another no-skips record for me.

sometimes your favourite musicians are wholesome and kind enough to share the records they are currently bumping. s/o to ‘Baths’ for putting me on to this band from NZ

I had the opening track to this album saved and I recently rediscovered it and then listened to the whole record and it’s beautiful. The band is based out of Nashville and they have this like country folk Midwest emo punk mix sound going on that I can’t really describe but I absolutely loved this album and the album cover is so fun

When I moved to New York the first time, I worked at a now-defunct music venue near Pumps and would go to the combination BP/Dunkin where I survived off of their incredibly cheap hashbrowns and iced coffee for an extended period. This time around, I have eaten them maybe 5 times a week, for...well, similar reasons. If anyone is not aware, the Dunkin App will reward you with free hashbrowns if you buy, like, 2 things. If you've made it all the way to the end of this rambling ode to the potato coin I highly recommend downloading the Dunkin App and raking in the savings

Absolute legends. disliking Green Day is middle schooler behavior. Liking Green Day is I guess also middle schooler behavior. Figure that out

I’m not necessarily saying there should be more but I can’t help but appreciate the ones that currently exist
