I started smoking weed as a young high schooler who had been craving drugs most of my youth, out of curiosity, wanting to fit in, wanting to quiet voices, and when it did all the things i wanted it to do i leaned on it for years. Clung to it. But, after going cold turkey on my antidepressants due to being sick of them, weed was my friend. She helped me calm, regulate, laugh, she reminded me to eat, and best of all share with people i loved. I donβt need anything to do that anymore (Shout out frontal lobe development) and due to being broke in college, i smoke significantly less, and now only when i want to, not because i need to. which is nice! addiction sucks bawwwllsss and my sprint away from who i used to be with substances has slowed into a nice jog.

Having a collection of a specific item a fun and rewarding pastime that gives you something to buy as a souvenir when you're abroad instead of some tacky gift shop garbo, but more importantly, it gives people more opportunities to give you gifts. I collect vintage Playboys (sex appeal), crystals (not for the mysticism, I just like geology), and hands (glass, wooden, pendants, etc). Now when people find one of these items, they will think of me and get it for me as a gift. Create as many opportunities to receive gifts as possible, as it's many people's love language. They won't be so embarrassed to gift if they can play it off like they're just adding to your very important collection. Cultivate opportunities for love to grow.
