I have a pair of Yuketen canoe mocs and I’ve decided they’re the perfect house shoe. I wear them for trips to the basement or garage, to brave the cold concrete, or to go for a local drive to CVS or dunks, and I slip them on for step outs to take my dog out for a pee or walk. They’re also just pretty sweet shoes.

These are the pair I have, great for snowy weather or whenever you want to do some outfit math to wear less in the cold (since they really keep your feet nice and cozy!).
Things I like about my pair: ✿ The pom-poms swing around with each step! ✿ One time I got really tired and frazzled and started pet to the fur and it actually helped me calm down lol ✿ Warm! Especially if you get the waterproof ones like I did! Great for having eventful snow storm adventures
Also! The founder is Métis, they collaborate with many different Indigenous artists on their designs, while also hosting a market for handmade pieces by even more Indigenous artists. Good stuff!

🐊Ok I like them. In the house. Out of the house. On a plane. Grocery shopping. I can’t be bothered with bending over to tie a shoe or the slight extra effort of a slip on shoe or loafer.
It's not like the snuggie. You don't wear them to pub crawls or get a bunch of people to wear them for a funny photo, they're not for that.

These green subu slippers are without a doubt my most worn shoe.
Soft velvety insoles cushioned within a puffy nylon exterior make even the most aimless day of sidling between bed, sofa & kitchen a real sensory treat.
They are also suitable for outdoor wear, with their durable rubber sole & waterproof puffer shell. Like wee armadillos for your feet.
I’ve worn mine every day for the last 3 years (excluding the odd weekend away, in which I missed them dearly!) and only now are they showing signs of wear.
Equal parts comfy, stylish & practical PLUS affordable. These slippers have got me through some dark winters / times.

🔁In college I went to the same Mexican place every day for a burrito, got the same coffee at the same Dunkin’ Donuts every morning
Years later im in a new area following the same philosophy, I eat a chicken bruschetta wrap at the same place every time I go out for lunch and still get the same coffee at the same local Dunkin’ Donuts every morning.
I frequent the same full service gas station, go to the same mechanic, Kevin, buy groceries from the same local mart, get my hair cut by the same barber, buy any and all hardware misc from the same little hardware store, Jeds.
When your order gets prepared the second you walk in, and you have a relationship with your daily’s, your life is in a better place.

And I mean completely out of cell service with the only option for connection being a 20+ minute drive to town. Just got back from this and feeling REFRESHED.
