It stands for Voice of the Report of the Week. That’s the guy from YouTube that reviews fast food in a suit. I’m not very interested in fast food but I find the individual behind the reviews interesting, relatable, and refreshing. So this is his podcast. The latest episode is over 4 hours long and consists of him talking to himself about various topics. I’ve become inspired by it and now I do my own talk-to-yourself style podcasts behind a paywall for my Fan Club.

the out of character podcast is hosted by hamzahthefantastic* and each ep usually lasts up to an hour.
you can put it on in the background of any activity or you could be doing absolutely nothing! it‘s entertaining both ways!
personally, i really enjoy listening to the solo pod while cleaning my room or drawing. i prefer to listen to the free youtube one w/his co-host martin while playing acnh or minecraft. sometimes they have guests on the youtube one. it’s def worth mentioning that the two pods have a slightly distinct vibe. on most eps, hamzah gets deep and channels his weird cryptic and wise side when he does his solo podcast, whereas the yt pod is alot funnier and sometimes more interactive if that makes sense?? but the yt pod also has plenty of wise moments from the both of them.
the pod with the two of them has me laughing out loud (in public) most of the time, while the patreon one often makes me self reflect and sometimes even motivates me.
(i might also post my opinion on the slushynoobz $5 patreon because MAN is it worth it🙂‍↕️)
but yeah! if this sounds like smth worth spending the price of a monthly wendy’s biggie bag on, i recommend you do what i did and watch all of the free ones first. i hope i put u on, but it’s not for everybody

This podcast has ended but their backlog is great. The pop-philosophy channel Wisecrack ran this podcast for a bit where they analyze different movies from a number of different perspectives. One of my favorite episodes is the one they did on the Fyre Festival documentaries where they provided some super interesting analysis of not only how events like this happen but also about the sort of enjoyment is watching it happen. Almost every episode is a banger.

I made a vow to myself in art school to stop listening to artists and start listening to writers because they are WAY better at telling stories/public speaking/giving interviews/talking in general. Rn I'm listening to In Writing with Hattie Crisell and the New Yorker ones like The Writer's Voice. I like In Writing because it's about how they write like literally what their desks look like, what time of day, etc. Demystifies it all a bit

I have a cat who is excellent. So excellent someone would grab him from the street if they saw him. Or he would get run over because he is too relaxed around hazards. I can not let him outside in Los Angeles. I was able to get a kind of chicken coop on Amazon that has been converted for cat use for only $200. It’s large enough for me to stand up in. There’s no way for a cat to get into it on its own but I recommend getting a piece of wood from Home Depot cut to the width of your window, and the height of a cat door. Then you can put a cat door where your window is, like an air conditioner would go, and put the catio on the other side. Now put the litter box in the catio, and you have an enviable cat situation that makes dogs suddenly seem completely unreasonable.

I can tell when someone doesn’t floss. Everyone should be flossing. It’s terribly important for intimacy and even basic friendships. These are the 5 things in life I am most excited about.

You can inject stuff into your fat layer that is made in a lab but your body thinks it made it itself and it basically is like hacking your body. Have you ever noticed that a famous athlete will tear an “ACL” or something similar that would put you out for six months but they are back in a matter of weeks. Well they are getting injected with BPC-157 and they heal 5x faster than normal. Suzanne Somers is 76 and her husband is ten years older but they have sex 3 times a day because they are injecting PT-141. Epitalon makes rats live 25% longer by lengthening their telomeres, which lets your cells replicate for longer or something. Basically if you inject it into your body you are supposed to live longer like a rat. There are like a million different peptides out there and none of it is regulated as long as they say “not for human consumption” on them. It’s probably the future of medicine and right now it’s the Wild Wild West, like before the government banned LSD.
