Whatever it is you’re wanting to do, just go for it. Give it your all. Even if it isn’t the best, do the best that you can do in this very moment. Failure means you get to try again with a different approach. Not everyone’s going to get what you do, and that’s okay there will be people who will. Don’t fear standing out or dim your own shine to match others, you’ll never know who you’ll inspire. Never stop learning or being curious, life is about exploration and discovery. And most importantly, it’s never too late to start over, reinvent yourself or chase a dream.

Just going for it

Ask for that favor, put that song out, make that connection, ask that girl out. Nobody will pat you on the bat and give you the green light to start a new business journey, you gotta just jump off and into whatever you want to do or build and figure it out along the way. As it progresses you’ll be pleasantly surprised at how much you have built and it will all feel real because you made it happen instead of just thinking about it .

just putting yourself out there

this year has been all about getting “out there” for me. since i’ve been doing concert photography more, i’ve come to realize that it really never hurts to ask - even if the ask seems outlandish at the time. if the opportunity doesn’t open itself up to you, then it wasn’t meant for you anyways! i am someone who deals with imposter syndrome quite a bit, and i’ve had to come to realize that i have to do the scary things in order for me to achieve what i want to (and to make them not so scary over time)! this applies to relationships as well, but i’m not so much focused on that in this particular phase of life as i am on my hobbies/career. anyways: DO THE SCARY THING. ASK THE SCARY/CRAZY QUESTION. YOU’LL NEVER KNOW WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF YOU DON’T TRY. DON’T LIVE A LIFE OF “WHAT IFS”! (this is aggressive bc i’m mostly trying to remind myself of it)

Space Age Electronics / Space Age Design

I surround myself with space age objects whenever I can because it makes me feel like humans can decide what we want the future to be. We’re living the last generations vision of the future right now. The concept is glamorous, but when you grow up in something magical, it’s easy to mistake for the mundane. Someone from the 50’s wouldn’t mistake today as mundane. So Space Age design reminds me to think about the future myself.I work at a bright yellow plastic desk and sleep on top of a rocket-ship I built.
