In April, some guy with about 2,000 followers popped up on TikTok who labeled himself as “The Next Harry Styles” and a “Model, Singer, CEO of a Watch Company all while having a full time finance job paying 6 figures” and I haven’t looked away since. A few weeks later, I saw him making a TikTok outside Cafe Select and asked for a selfie and he graciously approved without batting an eye like a seasoned celeb which was amazing. I am in a 30+ person MTW Fan club group chat and I attended his first show in the East Village that was insane. I bought a $35 signed shirt. I can’t really explain it anymore (and never will be able to) but you’ve got to check out his videos.

there i was, staring in awe at George Seurat’s “A Sunday Afternoon on the Island of La Grande Jatte,” until i was interrupted by a woman and her son walking right in front of the painting and talking loudly. so now i’m pissed and about to leave, but then this dude walks towards me and stands right next to me. he seems familiar, but i can’t put my finger on where i’ve seen him. until the loud woman and child join him and i realize it’s MatPat and that’s his wife and child. I was never a big Game Theory watcher, but my brother and close friend are huge fans so i’ve seen his face and heard his voice consistently for years and i was very starstruck. i almost said something and asked for a picture to show my friend, but i decided to just let them be normal people enjoying their day with their kid. and then he walked away and i thought that was the last time i’d be in a room with him.
i make my way to the opposite side of the museum, and it turns out we were taking the same route because as soon as i get there, MatPat appears! so yes, i absolutely eavesdropped on them for several minutes. they were super nice to their kid and were asking him thoughtful questions about the art and a fan ended up seeing him and asking for a photo and he was really cool about it (which made me regret not asking for one but at that point it would’ve been awkward as hell) and then they left the end.

watched Saltburn with my friends and Jacob Elordi was so fucking hot oh my god then after the movie i open tiktok and find there are so many edits of him! yay! because everyone agrees with me because how could you not with his eyebrow piercing...

U can sit in the hottest sauna in the city then go smoke a nice cigarette (or joint if u smoke kush) and wash it all down with a nice foreign beer and hot borscht soup. cold plunge smells a lil funky but it's worth it

It is one of my favorite restaurants to go to in the city. It’s an italian place in the west village on Christopher Street and truly only one of the places where you don’t feel like you just got ripped off leaving. The spinach gorgonzola gnocchi goes crazy, The chicken milanese is fantastic and definitely get the grilled squid if you’re into those sort of things.
