Do you know how much time I save by being bald? It’s actually a blessing. I don’t have to do much. I take a shower, throw on clothes and walk out the door. I’m harvesting so many precious moments of my life. I’ve reached all of my goals and written so many good melodies while y’all haired people been blow-drying, conditioning, snipping, perming, styling and living like normal human beings.

🧑As someone who isn't bald I find myself wondering about the life of someone who is and how incredible it must be.
Imagine the cool breeze brushing across your scalp on an early morning walk, how rejuvenating. Waking up not having to think about how you’re gonna style your hair that day, how light you must feel, physically and emotionally.

✂️I just cut off like a foot of hair? Maybe 8 inches, I’m not sure? Anyway, hair is now in a shaggy bob and it used to go down past my bra band and I feel really generally good.
I def believe hair holds memories and other things and even though this was just inspired becUse I’m tired of having tangles in the winter and not a major life event I still feel a lot lighter.
Also showers are so easy and saving a ton of $ on shampoo and conditioner.

🧑Gave myself a buzz cut a couple months ago and it rocks I feel so light and free and am discovering styles I never would have considered as it slowly grows back out. Incredibly liberating experience to have 3 lbs of hair hit the floor but the experience continues now that I’m getting to be a pixie cut person. Months later and I still am addicted to this choice

♾️Okay, I like ambient music – sue me. One of my favorite composers is a French electronic artist whose music I might describe as ethereal. It’s like soft-reverb-soaked, loop-based, nighttime-inspired melodic music. She’s prolific in the studio but rarely plays shows and doesn’t do a lot of press. Her side projects (Dj Lostboi and Belmont Girl) are just as interesting. 🎞A tense comedy / tragedy about a guy who shaves his trademark mustache and no one remembers it was ever even there. Are folks fucking with him or is he losing his mind? A brilliant performance from Vincent Lindon. Genius.
