Easily my favorite record label, with artists from Drain Gang and Yung Lean to Viagra Boys and Provoker. They’re based in Stockholm but they have a completely global spread. The heads and artists have been close friends of mine for the better part of a decade and I take any chance I get to go to the shows when I’m in town. Definitely worth listening to their full roster!

Nectar was one of my favorite projects from 2019, so hearing that Yung Lean had another project coming under his alter ego Jonatan Leandoer96, I knew it would be a certified day 1 listen™️. While nectar felt like raw indie rock, Blodhundar feels more atmospheric and hypnotic, with heavy folk influences. Songs like My City and Vitriol come hard in the hypno region, while other songs like Snake Ice could almost fit in a regular Yung Lean album. Please take the time to check this one out! Favorite track? Machines.

Noise label run by the artist New Grasping Machina. Every release is super interesting. Highly recommend Sound Diary by NBDY from their latest batch of releases, it’s my kinda noise

I have to travel every other week for work and having a reliable bag that can hold everything I need is a must. I recently bought a Rimowa Cabin Classic in Paris and my life abroad has gotten significantly easier. The classic aluminum design is not only light and structurally sound but looks really cool and rugged. I go everywhere with it!

I was never much of a golfer,  I’m an award-winning sailor which took up most of my time as a kid, but recently I’ve been spending a lot of time at the Chelsea Piers Driving Range. I’m not very good *yet* and I miss the balls most of the time, but when you strike it just right and it goes flying, it’s the most cathartic experience. Plus they have food and drinks!

This Japanese sake speakeasy hidden behind a sushi bar off of St. Marks is easily my favorite bar in NYC. It’s covered from floor to ceiling in graffiti and is always playing the best music. Perfect for an intimate night out with old and new friends. Their sake selection can’t be beat.
