i feel like most of the movies i've seen in the past decade have been very plot-driven and/or pretty conventional in terms of what you'd expect a movie to be. in terms of recommendations for this ask, i'm looking for contemporary movies (preferably 2015-present) in a similar vein to the movies of the dogme 95 movement, french new wave, avant garde, etc.
