I have a friend who’s four years older than me I made when I was 8 years old when I lived next to a rich neighborhood, and we grew super close and are now best friends for life. He cycles out his wardrobe every other year or so, and when he comes to visit, sometimes he’ll bring his old clothes he doesn’t wear anymore. We’ve been doing this since we were kids, and it made getting me clothes a lot easier on my parents financially, but now 90% of my wardrobe is blue, or colors that go with blue, (plus it’s all button downs, mid-thigh length shorts, polos, long and short-sleeve solid color or striped shirts, and sometimes hoodies and pullover sweaters Without hoods) and I’m trying to style it to keep up with what’s popular right now (baggy pants, loose graphic shirts, etc…), but I think I just look preppy and basic in pretty much everything. What should I do?
