Preface: I think following your passions and being kind is the most interesting and worthwhile thing you can do, the seemingly in-vogue pursuit of nicheness and not being boring is boring to me. That being said, I’d be lying if I claimed I don’t want to be intelligent and gain new knowledge. However, I find myself much less articulate in person vs. in the written word, which has me wondering: how related is intelligence to being a fluent conversationalist? I know skilled craftspeople and wise humans who can’t easily put their know-how into words, does that make their knowledge any less valuable as social beings? How could I become more articulate, and should I even care to? Lots of talking points in there, I’m hoping maybe this post could be a jumping off point for a larger conversation, not looking for anything specific in the answers
